Amazingly Bright
I loved this story. I read the first version of Bright so I was SO excited to read this new version. it definitely did not disappoint! Akira and Troy are so cute. their relationship moves so realistically. the drama of Akira's father's hate just brings the drama to this story. I love good action in a book. I devoured the second half. KC killed this one. the chapters were quick, even the long ones! I've never been really into fantasy but K.C. is bringing me into her world of vampires and mythical creatures. I love the romance, the action, the drama, the twists and turns. everyone needs to give K.C. a chance!

Great Book!
I don't normally read fantasy but I could not put this book down! I was so invested in the story and the relationships between the characters that I was getting mad and feeling all the feels throughout lol The author has an amazing imagination to think of the wonderful world she has created in this book. “I read this book in less than a day. I was immediately captivated by the main character. And I love how the author focused more on the main character than her first book. Which went between the two love interest. Having the focus on one main character allowed readers to figure out who her love interest which I’m having fun seeing who she will end up with.
And I’m happy that the author also didn’t let slide what was happening in town we found what the main character does. Mixture of suspense, mystery, romance and fantasy in one all the things I love.”

Any questions you had at the end of Seventeen were answered in book two and I was completely wrong about who to trust and I had no idea that the murderer revealed would have been the murderer! The history of magic, the betrayal, the hurt and pain... this story was awesome. I was so hurt for Claudette though when the murderer was revealed. The epic battle at the end was just wow. The author took this story to a different level, with the magic, the spells, and the history of Earth, moon, and sun witches, while also hinting at a new world. The murderer was revealed, and I yelled! I couldn't believe it. There was uncertainty between Kevin and Eli, and once the true intentions were revealed between the two of them, the story truly took on a life of its own. The betrayal cut deep and I felt for Claudette. It was a satisfying ending to an epic tale, not to mention the introduction into a new world! I can't wait.”

Even though the characters are witches or demons and have magical powers - their conversations, emotions and actions are so relatable - you can’t help becoming invested in them.
So - we start with Claudette’s tragic situation - from the first part. She wants answers and vengeance for her father and to make matters worse- there are some dark secrets about her boyfriend that are revealed too. Who can she trust at this vulnerable time in her life? Darkness is consuming her quickly - but there’s hope - in the shape of a beautiful character called Eli ( my favourite! ) Will Eli help Claudette to find answers, avoid darkness destroying her soul and fight for justice? …you will just have to read it to find out!
